In collaboration with 11 connoisseurs of medicinal plants was conducted an inventory of they, finding a total of 220 species used which belong to the most representative families, such as: Asteraceae, Lamiaceae, Poaceae, Solanaceae and Apiaceae.

It should be considered forward studies to enhance the inventory of medicinal plants in other zones of the Department of Antioquia, which will help to develop studies in phytochemistry and apply appropriate phytosanitary measures for the adequate use of the vegetable resource.
